PLAYERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THERE SHALL ONLY BE PLAYERS AS AVAILABLE UNIQUE COLOURED MALLETS<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PLAYERS WISHING TO BOW-OUT THEIR COLOUR MUST ATTEMPT TO FIND AN ALTERNATE PLAYER TO SWAP IN.\u00a0 SHOULD NO CANDIDATE BE FOUND, THE COLOUR IS ELIMINATED FROM THE ROTATION.<\/p>\n

III.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 EACH PLAYERS STROKE-ORDER IS DETERMINED BY THE COLOUR PROGRESSION ON THE STARTING OR FINISHING STAKES<\/p>\n

IV.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 EACH PLAYER SHALL GET 1 STROKE PER TURN<\/p>\n

COURSE<\/strong><\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE COURSE SHOULD CONSIST OF NO MORE THEN 9 WICKETS PLACED BY NO MORE THEN 2 PLAYERS.<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 WICKET PLACEMENT IS LIMITED ONLY BY COMMON SENCE, THE LAWS OF PHYSICS, AND ANY RESPECT FOR SURROUNDING REVELLERS.<\/p>\n

III.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE COURSE BEGINS & ENDS WITH A STAKE<\/p>\n

IV.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE COURSE SHALL BE PLAYED IN SUCH A MANNER THAT NO OBSTICAL OF ANY SIZE MAY BE MOVED OR CLEARED TO MAKE ROOM FOR SHOTS<\/p>\n

PLAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ORDER OF WICKETS & RUN DIRECTION IS DETERMINED IN THE FOLLOWING METHODS:<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 By result of running the wicket, the first player to run the current wicket determines the run direction thru which all trailing players must pass<\/p>\n

i.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is the lead players obligation to verbally state the run direction of any wicket when asked.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The first player to run the current wicket must [on-the-spot] declare verbally which wicket is to be the next current wicket.<\/p>\n

c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All players must run the declared order of wickets thru the appropriate run direction as determined by the lead player<\/p>\n

d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lead player is determined ONLY by their ability to run the current wicket first.<\/p>\n

e.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A players ball must completely pass the plane of the wicket in order for a run to have occurred.<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 BONUS STROKES CAN BE ACHIEVED IN THE FOLLOWING METHODS:<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 By running the current wicket thru the appropriate run direction<\/p>\n

i.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If your ball runs the current wicket by force of another players\u2019 stroke, your next turn will have +1.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 By result of your stroke, if your ball makes any contact with any other ball at any location on the course for any reason.<\/p>\n

c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 By result of your stroke, if your ball makes contact & tumbles any beverage (empty or full) on the course for any reason.<\/p>\n

d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bonus strokes can be stacked-up, but must be exhausted in a single turn<\/p>\n

STRATEGY<\/strong><\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 USE A CONTINUOUS STRING OF BONUS STROKES TO GAIN OPTIMAL BALL PLACEMENT FOR YOUR NEXT WICKET<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SPEND YOUR STROKE(S)\u00a0 SENDING AN OPPONANTS BALL OFF THEIR LOCATIONS<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In contrast to traditional 9-wickets Croquet method of \u201cplacing & sending,\u201d no ball may be picked up for any reason.\u00a0 Sending still occurs liberally, yet at expense of your balls position.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Should your ball come to rest in-contact with an opponents ball, you MAY place your foot on your ball when sending them.<\/p>\n

III.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE MALLET OR ANY PART OF THE MALLET MAY BE USED IN ANY FASHION SO LONG AS THE STROKE CONSISTS OF THE MALLET \u201cSTRIKING\u201d THE BALL<\/p>\n
